Start Your Business in Australia
The Australian Business Visa Program offers a pathway for successful business owners, investors, and senior executives to settle in Australia and conduct business opportunities. There are two options for entry:
Obtaining a Provisional Visa, which makes the applicant eligible for permanent residency once they establish a business in the country.
Direct permanent residence, which is only available to applicants who are sponsored by a State or Territory government. Under Australian Immigration law, applicants who enter under option 1 will go through a two-stage progression for permanent residence, including holding a Business Skills Provisional visa for four years and meeting requirements before applying for a Business Skills Residence Visa. The second option, known as the Business Talent Visa, is only available to applicants sponsored by a State or Territory government and grants permanent residency.
It is important to note that both options require meeting certain criteria and providing necessary documentation, such as a business plan, financial statements, and character references. Additionally, the Provisional Visa option requires meeting specific turnover and employment benchmarks during the four-year period. Additionally, applicants will also be required to pass the health and character checks. These requirements are designed to ensure that the applicant is a suitable candidate for the program and will contribute to the growth of the Australian economy. It is advisable to consult with a registered migration agent or attorney to understand the specific requirements and increase the chances of success
